Training

How you train matters more across weeks than within any single session. A workable rhythm:

  1. Run a benchmark to see which subcategory scores lowest.
  2. Build a routine around whichever weakness it shows.
  3. Hold that routine's length and frequency steady long enough to judge whether it's working.
  4. Re-run the benchmark every few weeks, not every session.

Skill develops between sessions as well as during them, so rest is part of the plan throughout, not a step.1 See Health and Rest.

A single day's result varies too much on its own to prove anything. Judge your training by the trend across several runs, covered on Progress and Plateaus, rather than any one score.

  • Routines: what belongs in a training session and how to pick what to work on.
  • Benchmarks: what a benchmark measures and how to read your weak points from it.
  • Progress and Plateaus: what normal improvement looks like and what to do when it stalls.
  • Health and Rest: training without pain, strain, or burnout.
