Making Scenarios in KovaaK's
How this page is sourced
Sourced from vendor documentation. Checked against its sources. Not yet reviewed by a person.
KovaaK's names its own fields and keeps that reference current.1 These pages carry a figure for every option in all seven editors instead.
Knowing what a field is called is not the same as knowing what it does. The same setting can leave a scenario learnable or unreadable, and the editor never says which.
Two facts shape the build. A scenario always starts as a copy, because no blank one is offered.12 A map is the exception: the map creator starts you with an empty one.3
The build¶
- Making Your Own Scenario: the whole build, as decisions rather than clicks.
The editors¶
Named and ordered as the game's own Profile Manager tabs are. A reader with the game open meets the same words in the same order.
- Scenario Editor: the rules of a run, and what it is worth.
- Character Profile: a target's body, and how it moves.
- Weapon Profile: what you shoot with, down to the spread and the recoil.
- Ability Profile: the actions that interrupt aiming.
- Bot Profile: the profile that turns other profiles into a target.
- Dodge Profile: where a target's motion comes from.
- Aim Profile: how a bot aims back, when your scenario is a duel.
Look it up, then ship it¶
- Where Each Setting Lives: a map from the demand you want to the tab that controls it.
- Sharing to the Workshop: uploading, updating, and what is worth publishing.
Do this next. Open a scenario you already play, unpack it, and read its dodge profile. That one profile is why the scenario feels the way it does.
